Day 1 : Airport – Embun Pagi ( D )
Arrived at Bandara International Minangkabau, the airport of Padang, after luggage clearance go direct to Embun Pagi, a resort with the beautiful view of lake Maninjau – on the way stop for a short rest and for photo stop at Anai Valley, a nature preserve with it’s falls – Pandai Sikat, well known for it’s traditional songket weaving – Sungai Landie, for short rest and enjoy the mountainous view and the valley at the bottom of Mount Singgalang – Check in hotel at the resort.
Day 2 : Embun Pagi – Bukittinggi ( B, L, D )
Breakfast at the hotel – a time for enjoying the spectacular view of Lake Maninjau with the morning mist – leave Embun Pagi for Bukittinggi stop at Koto Gadang, famous for it’s silver smith – Bukittinggi city tour, visits Ngarai Sianok, the canyon of West Sumatera with it’s Japanese Tunnel – Jam Gadang, the land mark of this tourism city – local market Pasar Atas – diner at restaurant, after that enjoy Minang kabau’s dance performance (own expenses).
Day 3 : Bukittinggi – Harau - Pagaruyung – Bukittinggi ( B, L, D )
Breakfast at hotel – proceed Harau Valley, a nature preserve surrounded by step slope of a rocky mountain, with some falls, mainly in the wet season – next stop is Payakumbuh for it’s local snacks – then to Tabek Patah, enjoy the view while taking a short rest – Pagaruyung, a place as a centre of Minangkabau Kingdom in the former times – lunch at the restaurant with kampong and padi fields atmosphere back to Bukittinggi free time.
Day 4 : Bukittinggi – Lake Singkarak – Padang ( B, L, D )
Breakfast at the hotel – last minutes shopping – to get some souvenirs – leave Bukittinggi for Padang – stop at the biggest lake in West Sumatera called Lake Singkarak – driving through the road lake side to Solok, a town famous for it’s rice – stop at Sari Manggis for a short rest while enjoying the mountains view, before reaching Padang enjoy the view of Padang back grounded by the Indonesian Ocean – then Padang city tour to visits old part of the city – china town and the only Tao’s temple in West Sumatera since XIX century – Arau River with it’s Jembatan Siti Nurbaya – Padang Beach – driving through the road where government offices are with the roof in Minangkabau architectures – check-in hotel – dinner at local restaurant.
Day 5 : Padang – out ( B, L, D )
B’fast at hotel – free until time to transfer to the airport for the next destination.
